• Make a one year plan

Essential Skills

• Every job has Skills essential for success
• Interview successful people in your future job
• List five categories of skills
• Add three essential skills to each category

Mind the Gap

• What skills are you lacking?
• Where will you develop?
• How much time will you invest?
• What actions will you take

Incorporate Required Training

• Your current development includes training that is chosen for you
• Make sure to include this in your planning
• Don't bite off more than you can chew
• Make sure your plan is realistic

Your Personal Development

• Your professional life has 2000 hours each year
• Try to make half that time building skills
• Plan out a budget for developing the most important skills

Create a Presentation

• Deploy the Reveal JS libraries on your Github Pages server
• Copy "reveal/index.html" to "bacs200/skills.html"
